Tony Awards 2018; Complete Winners List
For the 72nd time, Tony Awards rewarded the best in the best of Branford. And as we all saw, the night was magnificent. It was an uproar of laughter, joy, appreciation, and celebrations. Let’s take a brief look at all the beautiful happenings from the night, the nominees and all the lucky-deserving winners of Tony Awards 2018.
Tony Awards 2018
The show took place at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, was hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles, and was broadcast live by CBS. Both the hosts kicked things off with a piano duet by jabbing fun at the way that neither of them has won Tony or Grammy Awards.
Andrew Garfield gave an energetically heartwarming speech while he accepted his award. He referenced an ongoing Supreme Court choice identifying with a Colorado bread cook to who declined to make a cake for a same-sex wedding.
“So, let’s just bake a cake for everyone who wants a cake to be baked.”
There were some expected victories and then some surprises that made us go wow. Mr. Robert DeNiro made our day when he cursed Mr. Trump saying, “f**k Trump” twice before introducing Springsteen’s performance. He literally received a standing ovation for that.
“First, I wanna say, ‘f**k Trump.’ It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump,’ it’s ‘f**k Trump.'”
