People’s Choice Awards 2018 – Complete Winners List, Highlights, and All Pictures

The entertainment industry has been constantly changing over the years. Movies are growing, too many movies are being released every year and it’s getting harder to choose the best one among. Same goes for music and TV shows. Music especially has grown so much in the last couple years hip-hop has taken over. And all kinds of rappers are getting popular you may like it or not. But still this year a lot of greats came back and dropped their albums. Hearing all those old-school rappers was a good change of pace artists like Eminem, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne came back. And no surprise their music was phenomenal. The people’s choice awards help choose the best music.

When it comes to movies though there is to much saturation in movies nowadays only a handful of good one’s release. Some good movies that came out this year would be Avengers: Infinity War and Incredibles 2. These were some good mainstream of the year. And some good indie movies would be Overlord, read our review for it here, and Upgrade. So with so much diversity and variety, it gets harder to choose what is the best among each category. There are the people choice awards for that it helps in choosing what the public and fans found the best music or movies.

The E! People’s Choice Awards, previously known as the People’s Choice Awards, is an American awards show. It recognizes people in entertainment and the nominations are done by the general public or fans. It has been doing since 1975. The 44th edition of the People’s Choice Awards marked the ceremony for the shows move from CBS to E! network. The ceremony like always honored the best in movies, TV shows and music. The biggest would be Avengers: Infinity War winning 2 awards and the biggest award of the night as well the movie of the year.
And the second biggest highlight would definitely be Nicki Minaj’s 2 wins. She won both the Album Of the Year and Female artist of the year awards.
Some other highlights include Danai Gurira winning Best Action movie star of the year.
Bryan Stevenson, a lawyer, professor, activist and author who is fighting against racial discrimination in the criminal justice system. Won the peoples champion award.
Blake Shelton won the best country artist of the year
Scarlett Johansson won Female Star of 2018 award
Nicki Minaj’s performance at the start with “Good Form” and later “Dip” with Tyga was also a big moment.
