Take some protein

Skin, nails, and hair are mostly protein. Collagen, keratin, and elastin are proteins. They help avoid wrinkles. They provide elasticity and strength. Many of us eat chicken, meat, fish, legumes, eggs, and dairy foods.

If protein is very important, should you eat more? No, this is because huge steaks and protein intake can be converted to fat. Your body will store it to parts where you don’t want it.

To get your skin-boosting protein, you can include at least one serving of chicken, meats, seafood, legumes, or eggs. Then, have at least two serves of daily low-fat dairy products on your diet.

Use sunscreens

Even if you are indoors, it is best to use a sunscreen. The UVA rays of the sun can come through the windows too. This can contribute to aging, tanning, and pigmenting. Ideally, apply sunscreen on your skin every three hours.

Take note that your sunscreen should have an SPF of 30 or more. SPF refers to the degree of protection against the UVB rays. As such, sunscreen must have UVA protection as well. The usual UVA protection ingredients are Titanium dioxide, Avobenzone, Mexoryl, Zinc oxide, and Tinosorb. For your favorite skin care and hair care products, check out this site.
