Probably one of greatest or even the greatest animated film is The Lion King. That movie was just amazing, the music was awesome and the animations were epic. There was a comedy and as well as good emotional scenes, which is expected of animated films now. After the live-action remake of The Jungle Book, which was amazing itself, we have been waiting for The Lion King. Ever since the first poster for the new The Lion King film. Everyone has been waiting for the official trailer or even a teaser. Our wishes have been answered on this Thanksgiving weekend. Jon Favreau also directed The Jungle Book remake, as we said earlier it was amazing. We have our hopes up for this one, hopefully, it isn’t a disappointment. Jon Favreau first showed footage of Lion King back in last summer at D23, which included photo-real landscapes and Rafiki introducing baby Simba on Pride Rock. Which is exactly what this new trailer showed, and a lot more. The Lion King is just one of several remakes Disney has on the docket, including Lady in the Tramp for its Disney+ streaming service and Tim Burton’s Dumbo, which bows March 29, 2019. Favreau previously had huge success with his remake of The Jungle Book, which grossed $966 million globally.

The original Lion King grossed more than $968 million worldwide and featured memorable songs from Elton John and Tim Rice. And it does it is gonna have amazing music because the trailer had the classic soundtrack from the previous ones.

On September 28, 2016, Walt Disney Pictures confirmed that Jon Favreau would be directing a fast-tracked remake of the 1994 animated film The Lion King, which would feature the songs from the 1994 film, following a string of recent box office successes on the other Disney remake films such as Maleficent, Cinderella, Favreau’s The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast with the latter three also earning critical praise.

Later on October 13, it was reported that Disney had hired Jeff Nathanson to write the screenplay for the remake. In November, talking with ComingSoon.net, Favreau said the virtual cinematography technology he used in The Jungle Book would be used to a greater degree in The Lion King. Although the media reported The Lion King to be a live-action film, it actually utilizes photorealistic computer-generated animation. Disney also did not describe it as live-action, only stating it would follow the “technologically groundbreaking” approach of The Jungle Book

Donald Glover leads the cast as young Lion Simba who loses his dad, while Beyoncé. Who is credited in the trailer with her last name, Knowles-Carter – voices Nala, a childhood friend and later love interest to Simba. The cast includes James Earl Jones reprising his role from the 1994 animated film as Simba’s father Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Simba’s villainous uncle Scar, Alfre Woodard as Simba’s mother Sarabi, with child actor JD McCrary playing the young version of Simba. Shahadi Wright Joseph is voicing the young Nala, while John Kani voices the baboon Rafiki and John Oliver playing Mufasa’s confidant, the hornbill Zazu. And some other casts that will voice other familiar characters are Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Keegan-Michael Key, and John Oliver.

The film is set to release July 19, 2019. The film is one of the most anticipated films of next year. The first week will probably be as good as any top film.
